Welcome to Leeveit.com! By signing up or using our services, sharing information with us through various channels, or accessing our platform, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to certain elements of this Privacy Policy, you are encouraged to not proceed with signing up, or you could send us an email on dpo@leeveit.com with the request to delete your account.

Controller & Scope

“Leeveit”, “we”, “us” means Leeve Technologies Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) and its Philippine operating entity, as applicable. For most platform processing, Leeveit is the data controller. Keepers (space hosts) receive only the information necessary to fulfil the rental contract, which is limited to the Leever's name and address as shown on the platform contract. Keepers act as independent controllers solely for that contract data and for any on-site activities they conduct at their own premises. When a Keeper acts as controller, they are responsible for their own privacy compliance.

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At Leeveit, we are committed to safeguarding your privacy. We collect personal information to operate effectively and efficiently while ensuring your data's security.

We work with trusted service providers to operate payments, identity verification, logistics, analytics, communications, and advertising. Examples include payment processors, identity verification services, logistics partners, email and messaging providers, analytics and advertising platforms. We limit sharing to what is necessary, under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.

Legal Bases for Processing

• Contract necessity (to create/manage accounts, bookings, payments).
• Legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform security, product improvement, limited direct marketing).
• Legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory requests).
• Consent (optional marketing, certain cookies, specific data you choose to provide).

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy pertains to your usage of the Leeveit platform and interactions with us via social media and other communication channels. Please note that it does not apply to third-party websites or services accessed through the Leeveit platform; you should review the respective third-party privacy policies for those services. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our privacy policy page and, when appropriate, communicated to you via push notifications or email.

Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy, including legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. Specific retention periods include:

• Account data — retained while your account is active, and deleted within a reasonable period after account closure or a verified erasure request, subject to the exceptions below.
• Transaction and payment records — retained for 20 years. This exceeds the minimum required under Singapore tax law (5 years) and Philippines tax law (10 years), and allows us to defend against legal claims, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.
• Identity verification data (TIN, date of birth) — retained while your account is active, and as part of transaction records where linked to invoices.
• Marketing preferences — retained until you withdraw consent.
• Support communications — retained for up to 2 years after the issue is resolved.

International Transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g., identity verification, email, cloud hosting) may process your data outside Singapore and the Philippines. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including contractual protections required under applicable law.

Right to Erasure

We recognize and respect your right to erasure, also known as the right to be forgotten. If you decide that you no longer wish to have your personal data processed by us and would like to delete your user account, we are committed to assisting you with this process. To initiate a request for erasure, please follow these steps:

• Submit a Request: Contact us directly via email at dpo@leeveit.com with the subject line "Request for Data Erasure." Please include your full name, email address associated with your account, and a brief statement indicating your desire to erase your personal data from our records.
• Verification: Upon receiving your request, we may require additional information to verify your identity and ensure the security of your data. We are committed to responding to your request without undue delay and will process it within one month of verification.
• Data Retention: Please note that in some cases, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as financial records needed for tax compliance. We will inform you if any data must be retained, along with the reasons and duration of such retention.
• Consequences of Erasure: Be aware that erasure of your data means you will lose access to your account and any services or data associated with it. This action is irreversible, and we want to ensure you are fully informed before proceeding.
• Excluded Data: Some data may be excluded from the right to erasure due to other legal obligations or rights, such as anonymized data used for analytical purposes. This data cannot be traced back to you and will not affect your privacy.
• Confirmation of Erasure: Once your data has been successfully erased, we will send you a confirmation via email, ensuring you are informed of the completion of your request.

Information We Collect

Our platform connects space providers and seekers. To offer a secure and high-quality service, we collect various personal details, including:

• Name
• Address
• TIN number
• Phone number
• E-mail address
• Payment details
• Date of birth
• App and website usage statistics
• Company name
• Company TIN number

We use this data for several purposes:

• Keepers – To establish identity, maintain accounts, manage space profiles, and facilitate payments.
• Leevers – To establish identity, manage accounts, rent spaces, and process payments.
• TIN numbers and dates of birth are accessible only to authorised Leeveit team members for record-keeping purposes and may be disclosed to government authorities where legally required. They are not used for any other purpose. This data is stored in our secure database with restricted access.
• Identity Verification – For identity verification, we use Persona (Withpersona, Inc.), a third-party identity verification provider. Persona processes the identity data you submit during onboarding under its own privacy policy, which we recommend you review.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Strictly necessary cookies — required to keep you logged in and operate core platform functions. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our platform, which helps us improve the service.
• Advertising and measurement cookies — we use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and to show relevant content on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram).

We currently load Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel when you visit our platform. We are working on a consent mechanism that will allow you to manage these preferences. In the meantime, you can opt out via your browser settings or by using the opt-out tools provided by Google and Meta. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel involve data transfers to the United States; both providers apply their own safeguards under their respective privacy policies.

Facebook Data

If you choose to sign up or connect via Facebook, we receive only the data you authorize through that service (e.g., your Facebook ID, name, email, profile picture, and optionally your phone number). You can disconnect at any time via your account settings or the third-party service.

This data is used to enhance your Leeveit experience, display your name and profile picture, and facilitate communication regarding platform activities.

How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your personal data lawfully and primarily for:

• Contract fulfillment
• Legitimate interests (with respect to your rights)
• Legal or regulatory compliance

Additionally, we may use personal information for purposes such as resolution of requests, updates, notifications, service promotion, information validation, security enforcement, and more.

Statistical Information

We collect statistical information for platform support, troubleshooting, data analysis, security, development optimization, advertising, service recommendations, and comparison with data from other sources (while protecting personal information).

Information Sharing

We may share information about Users, Leevers, and Keepers with:

• Business partners, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure service quality.
• Advertising and analytics platforms (Google, Meta) — see Cookies section above.
• Identity verification providers (Persona).

Your Data Access and Control

You have the right to verify, update, or correct your information and request removal of obsolete data. If you have an account, you can manage your profile online. You can also contact us to review, challenge accuracy, or make amendments to your data. Additionally, you can change your communication preferences and opt out of further communications.

Children

The platform is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor provided data, contact us to delete it.

Updates to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may change periodically without prior notice. We will post notices on leeveit.com and other relevant websites to inform you of substantive changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates the most recent update.
